Newham move from memorial avenue (West Ham) to Church Street (Stratford) where our club is located now!!!

Our club was based in Memorial Avenue for 8 years and then moved to our present building which is in church street Stratford London E15 where the 2012 Olympics will be held. Newham now have been based at these premises for 17 years, and from our very humble beginnings, to this present day, we have a very active committee who help with the daily running of the club.

At our club there are eight trainers and six who previously used to box, we have three trainers for our nursery, who are Danny Lambert, Bernie Miller and Johnny Vaughn, and also have three trainers for our juniors who are called Jimmy Lavey, Tommy Giles, Bradley Sponge, and for the senior boys there are two seniors trainers called Gary Steadman and Matthew Batty.

Glorious Champs for Newham Boys Club as they Land Forty Two Champions Within Twenty Years!!!

Over our twenty five year period Newham have had twenty five national schoolboy champions, nine N.A.B.C champions, and also have had six four nations champions who have achieved two gold medals, three silver medals and one bronze for England. Newham also managed to have two junior A.B.A champions and our club have had twenty five boys picked over the years to represent England at home and abroad.

Newham now have over sixty boys at the club, which there is thirty of those boys that are out on bouts. We feel that all the committee and trainers have built the club into a very friendly and successful club and hope to produce more national champions in the future.
